Job Title: Regulatory Reporting Systems Support Analyst
Job Location: Montreal, QC
Job Type: Contract
Job Overview:
  • Provide application support for regulatory reporting platforms and data warehouse systems.
  • Support the end-to-end regulatory reporting lifecycle including data sourcing, transformation, aggregation, validation, and report generation.
  • Monitor production cycles for regulatory reports and ensure timely and accurate submissions.
  • Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, reconciliation issues, and validation failures.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions for recurring issues.
  • Collaborate with regulatory reporting and treasury teams to interpret requirements and implement system changes.
  • Support change management, testing, and release activities for regulatory updates.
  • Maintain system configurations, data mappings, and transformation processes.
  • Drive automation and process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and control.
  • Ensure proper documentation, data lineage tracking, and system resiliency.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • Bachelor s degree required.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience supporting AxiomSL in a banking environment.
  • Experience supporting FR 2052a and FR Y15 reports.
  • Experience supporting finance regulatory reporting teams.
  • Strong experience with PLSQL and relational databases.
  • Experience in data analysis and reconciliation processes.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
  • Ability to work under tight regulatory deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and control-oriented mindset.
  • Proactive approach to maintaining production stability and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide L2 and L3 application support for regulatory reporting platforms.
  • Monitor and support daily, monthly, and quarterly reporting cycles.
  • Investigate and resolve data and reconciliation issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement fixes.
  • Support regulatory filing timelines and ensure SLA adherence.
  • Configure system components including data sources and workflows.
  • Develop and maintain data transformation and ETL processes.
  • Implement automation and process improvements.
  • Support audits and regulatory inquiries.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure platform resiliency.
  • Provide on-call and after-hours support as required.
Should Have:
  • Experience supporting additional regulatory reports.
  • Knowledge of liquidity risk and capital reporting.
  • Experience with data governance, data lineage, and regulatory controls.
  • Exposure to Unix, Linux, and Windows environments.
Skills:
  • Regulatory reporting systems support.
  • Data analysis and reconciliation.
  • SQL and database management.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Process improvement and automation.
  • Communication and stakeholder management.
Qualification And Education:
  • Bachelor s degree required.
  • Equivalent experience in regulatory reporting and systems support considered.
