This role involves hands-on engineering in both lab and production environments, supporting integration, manufacturing, and hardware validation.
Required SkillsCandidates should have experience with one or more of the following areas:
- Testing and/or debugging digital, analog, RF, and/or mixed-signal circuit card assemblies (CCAs) or electro-mechanical systems
- Performing Root-Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations
- Providing manufacturing and test support for electronic assemblies
- Proficiency with standard lab equipment, such as:
- Oscilloscopes
- Logic analyzers
- Function generators
- Power supplies
- Other diagnostic equipment
- Ability to interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and Bills of Materials (BoMs)
- Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance required to start
Desired Skills- Prior production-support engineering experience supporting electrical or mechanical hardware
- Experience in electronic subsystem or CCA design, including:
- Digital/analog/RF electronics
- EO or sensor/seeker systems
- Circuit design, assembly, electrical testing
- Supplier and sub-tier support
- Test automation scripting
- PCB fabrication and CCA manufacturing processes
- Proficiency with engineering tools such as:
- Mentor Graphics Designer
- PSPICE, SystemVision
- MATLAB, Mathcad, IDL
- CST, HFSS, ADS
- Spectrum analyzers, signal generators, etc.
- Experience with:
- Subsystem integration & test
- Post-test analysis
- SPC methods for yield improvement
- Technical writing and formal technical presentations
- Implementing Engineering Change Notices (ECNs)
- Ability to operate independently or within a small technical team
- Experience providing technical oversight, task leadership, cost estimation, reporting, and proposal support
Experience & Education Requirements- Minimum of 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field
