Senior Network Firewall Security Engineer (L3)

Must have skills: Cisco ISE or Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA / ZTNA) or Barracuda Proxy, Firewall Engineer, Palo Alto, FortiGate, TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN

Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer  to  esign, secure, and modernize our global network infrastructure. In this role, you will lead the strategic architecture for Zero Trust Access, SASE, secure edge proxy, and identity-driven network access across hybrid and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• SASE & Zero Trust Engineer : Design and deploy Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) frameworks using Zscaler (ZIA & ZPA).
• Identity & Access Control: Architect and enforce identity-based network access, micro-segmentation, and NAC policies using Cisco ISE.
• Web & Traffic Security: Oversee secure web gateway, proxy, and content filtering architecture utilizing Barracuda Proxy and Zscaler (ZIA).
• Strategy & Governance: Define enterprise network security baselines, reference architectures, and security policies aligned with NIST and CIS standards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Infrastructure and IT operations teams to integrate secure access solutions without degrading network performance.

Key Qualifications

• Experience: 10+ years in network security, with 3+ years in an enterprise architecture role.
• Core Technology Expertise: Hands-on architectural experience with Cisco ISE, Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA / ZTNA), and Barracuda Proxy.
• Framework Mastery: Deep understanding of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), SASE, Secure Web Gateways (SWG), and enterprise access management.
• Certifications (Preferred): CISSP, CCDE, Cisco Certified Specialist - Security Core / ISE, or Zscaler Certified Architect (ZCA).
