Summary

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced DLP Analyst / Cyber Security Analyst with strong expertise in vulnerability management, threat exposure analysis, and infrastructure security. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in Windows/Linux server administration, network security fundamentals, and remediation of security vulnerabilities across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and prioritize vulnerabilities using CVE intelligence and CVSS scoring methodologies.
  • Investigate zero-day vulnerabilities and assess organizational threat exposure.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments using scanning tools and coordinate remediation activities.
  • Work closely with infrastructure and security teams to remediate:
    • Misconfigurations
    • Outdated libraries/packages
    • Weak/insecure protocols
    • Authentication and encryption issues
  • Support DLP and cybersecurity monitoring initiatives.
  • Review firewall, network, and server configurations for security compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to cybersecurity best practices and organizational security standards.
  • Assist in incident response and security hardening activities.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of:
    • CVEs
    • CVSS Scoring
    • Zero-Day Vulnerabilities
    • Threat Exposure Management
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Vulnerability scanning platforms (Qualys, Nessus, Rapid7, etc.)
    • Windows Server Administration
    • Linux Server Administration
  • Good understanding of:
    • Networking fundamentals
    • Firewalls
    • Authentication protocols
    • Encryption technologies
  • Experience in remediation and security hardening activities.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in IAM and Network Security domains.
  • Familiarity with enterprise cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards.
  • Security certifications such as Security+, CEH, CISSP, or equivalent are a plus.
