Summary
Position Title: Project Manager - Site Transfer/Labeling Project
Location: San Diego, CA - Locals HIGHLY preferred. May expand search out to remote but wants to look local, will put priority on this.
Process: 2 rounds of Virtual Interview on Teams - first with hiring manager, second round will be panel with 2-3 folks
Duration: 9 Months
Start Date: ASAP - can interview as soon as tomorrow, early next week.
Scope/What's Driving the Need: Client is doing a site transfer and has a lot of product lines that need to be documented, labeled, Product labels where old address called out to be updated with new building address. Will involve both infusion and med device.
Responsibilities:
- Successfully initiate, plan, execute, and deliver large sized projects.
- Manages multiple projects concurrently.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies.
- Ensure project execution within established scope, schedule, resource, budget and quality requirements
- Lead cross-functional project teams in a matrix environment, optimizing team performance on assigned tasks and deliverables
- Utilizes analytical, organizational, communication, presentation, and written skills to keep stakeholders informed
- High level of energy, initiative, and results orientation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s or Master degree in mechanical, biomedical, electrical, or related technical field.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including minimum 2-3 years project / program management experience, preferably in a global, matrixed company.
- Proven experience working in medical device industry driving medium to large-sized projects from initiation through closure.
- Experience driving medical device design changes and transfer to manufacturing in a sustaining engineering environment.
- In-depth understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Lean/Six Sigma, Scrum) and processes
- Proven experience using project management tools and software (i.e. Microsoft Project, Office 365, One Plan etc)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- PMP preferred.
