Technical support for projects in the areas of sensors and circuit design for

3D Printed Electronics, Processing and Conductive/Non-conductive Ink Development

Job and Responsibilities:

• Execute assigned fabrication and processing runs for printed electronics per established work instructions and process parameters
• Support senior engineers in the design and layout of sensors, circuits and test structures, including schematic capture, bill of materials and component selection
• Adhere to all laboratory guidelines, standard operating procedures and experimental protocols, escalating any deviation or out-of-specification result prior to proceeding
• Handle conductive and non-conductive inks, solvents and process chemicals in accordance with safety data sheet requirements, personal protective equipment policy and waste disposal procedures
• Operate, calibrate and perform routine maintenance on laboratory processing and characterization equipment, maintaining accurate usage and consumable logs
• Build, rework and bring up prototype assemblies and printed test coupons in support of feasibility studies
• Conduct electrical, mechanical and physical characterization of printed structures and record all raw data in the laboratory notebook or data management system on the day of test
• Support design of experiments as assigned, perform data reduction and present results in a clear and defensible format
• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation including test protocols, run sheets, work instructions, calibration records and technical memos
• Ensure all activities align with GMP, ISO and quality system requirements, and support internal and external audits as requested
• Participate in product and process design reviews, receive technical direction and feedback constructively, and actively build knowledge in materials, process and metrology outside the core discipline
• Provide timely and accurate reporting on assigned activities, communicate schedule or resource risk early, and maintain shared work areas, equipment and inventory in a ready condition.
