You will be guiding the creative process through the design season while working with a team of innovation designers, developers, product managers, to deliver exceptional product for the BRAND. This opportunity will require strong collaborative skills to meet cost requirements, deadlines, and compelling product, all while taking your partners though the thinking behind your work.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We re currently looking for a Lead Designer to lead and develop seasonal design concepts for apparel. Product Design at Client is a diverse culture of creativity, collaboration and innovative thinking on all levels. This role requires strong passion and knowledge of apparel product creation and the ability to problem solve every step of the way, from concept to final design. This teammate embodies expert communication skills with the ability to translate complex ideas into focused design narratives as well as a passion and energy for sport culture, performance and design.
- Bachelor s degree in Apparel Design or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in the apparel sport industry
- Demonstrated passion and understanding of trend and visual culture
- Knowledge of product creation and graphic application for performance apparel
- Expert communication and presentation skills using a variety of formats
- Ability to seek out opportunities to elevate apparel though craft and construction
- Proficient in Adobe CC and comfortable working within new digital spaces such as CLO and Vizcom
- Passion for bridging innovation to a large range of cultural relevant apparel product
- A collaborative mindset to work with other designers and teams while having the ability to work efficiently and autonomously when necessary.

A typical day in the life could include designing a range of performance apparel product type including base layer to outerwear, men s and women s, mocking up samples, creating presentations/story telling, reviewing prototypes and revisions in preparation for a seasonal product launch.
