CTG is seeking a Software Engineer III for our client.

Location: Wilmington, DE
Duration: 12 months

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Lead complex software development, systems analysis, application design, development, testing, debugging, and implementation.
  • Develop and enhance enterprise applications using C#, Azure, and Angular.
  • Serve as a technical lead on complex application development projects and provide technical direction to development teams.
  • Analyze application architecture, system integrations, interfaces, platforms, and dependencies.
  • Create and review technical specifications, functional requirements, system documentation, test plans, and project estimates.
  • Coordinate with developers, operations, technology teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Perform software testing, debugging, defect resolution, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production support.
  • Evaluate technologies and recommend application, process, and system improvements.
  • Ensure adherence to software development standards, procedures, risk controls, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
  • Mentor junior and less experienced developers and provide technical leadership across projects.

Scope of Responsibilities:
  • Independently manage high-level systems analysis and application development activities.
  • Lead technical workstreams, coordinate resources, and drive project milestones and delivery schedules.
  • Partner with senior management, business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors.
  • Support application architecture, system enhancements, technical evaluations, and strategic technology initiatives.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate development resources on complex projects.
  • Provide technical mentoring, guidance, and project-level leadership.
  • Monitor project activities, deliverables, schedules, and resource effectiveness.

Education and Experience Required:
  • Associate degree with 6+ years of systems analysis/application development experience, or 8 years of combined education/work experience with 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure, C#, and Angular.
  • Experience with enterprise application development, systems integration, software development, testing, debugging, and production support.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Experience coordinating application development with business units and driving project milestones and delivery.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership, mentoring, and project coordination experience.

Education and Experience Preferred:
  • Experience with enterprise application frameworks and integrated/interfacing applications.
  • Strong understanding of application architecture, business processes, and enterprise systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple complex projects.
  • Experience supporting strategic initiatives beyond day-to-day application operations.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
