Role : .Net Developer
Location: Austin -TX- (On-Site)
Duration : 6 months Approx.
Primary Responsibilities
· The Software Engineer 3 will perform highly advanced, senior-level programming and application development duties, including but not limited to:
· Develop, design, and implement complex software solutions by analyzing business needs, system workflows, and data usage.
· Write, test, debug, and document advanced client/server and web-based applications using C# (.NET), Blazor, and SQL.
· Design and enhance front-end and back-end web applications utilizing HTML5, CSS, C# .NET Blazor, SQL, Stored Procedures, Oracle, and SQL Server.
· Collaborate closely with systems analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to gather and validate requirements and deliver technical solutions that meet functional and system requirements.
· Support Texas Department of Agriculture application software by diagnosing issues, implementing fixes, and maintaining systems at current supported levels.
· Develop and enhance state agency licensing systems, including migrating legacy licensing functionality to modern platforms while ensuring seamless legacy data portability for the State of Texas.
· Utilize Visual Studio 2022, .NET Core 9.0, Oracle DB, and DevExpress tools to deliver secure, scalable, and user-friendly solutions.
· Conduct research and analysis to design specialized programs or routines that enhance application functionality.
· Recommend improvements to application development processes and best practices.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Years Required/Preferred Experience
· Required Bachelor’s degree, or higher.
· 8 --- Required 8+ years of senior-level work experience and knowledge in analyzing software application systems workflow processes to identify environment efficiencies and improvements
· 8 --- Required 8+ years of experience root cause analysis and resolution
· 8 --- Required 8+ years’ experience in leading the design and development of web-based software applications
· 8 --- Required 8+ years of experience programming in various coding languages including but not limited to: .Net, HTML, HTML5, ASP, Java, JSP, .NET/C#, front end and back-end user interface methodologies technologies, SQL, and stored procedures
· 8 --- Required 8+ years of experience, independently performing a variety of complicated SDLC related tasks at all phases of the SDLC
· 8 --- Required 8+ years of experience in software application administration and management
· 8 --- Required 8+ years of experience in leading SDLC projects from scope to deployment including coordinating with organizational change control boards and release schedules
· 8 --- Required 8+ years of experience and proficiency in web programming using code languages: .NET/C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS SQL, Stored Procedures, Oracle, and SQL Server
· 6 --- Required 6+ years of experience with Agile SDLC methodology
· 6 --- Required 6+ years of experience in cross-team collaboration for requirements gathering and software development, modifications, and maintenance
· 5 --- Required 5+ years of experience in programming and implementing software application modifications to accommodate information security requirements and network security integrity
· 5 --- Required 5+ years of experience leading and directing SDLC teams including code validation and approval of fellow programmers
· 5 --- Required 5+ years of experience in technical writing and documentation of environment and network changes and release notes
· 5 --- Required 5+ year of experience in presenting in-person software application change demonstrations for the purposes of seeking customer approval of proposed design
· 4 --- Required 4+ years of experience using Azure Dev Ops, Jira, or similar
· 2 ---- Required 2+ years of experience programming in C# .Net Blazor
· 4 --- Preferred Experience porting existing codebase from Java to C# .NET Blazor
· 4 --- Preferred Experience and knowledge of responsive web design practices and implementation
· 4 ----- Preferred Experience and knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), and implementation
· 4 -----Preferred Previous experience working with TDA systems
Compensation
Compensation for roles at Beacon Systems Inc depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, BeaconGov provides reasonable range of compensation for this role.
