Sr. Quality Analyst – User Acceptance Testing (SAP Payroll)

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Duration: 6+Months Contract to hire

Position Overview

·         We're seeking an experienced QA / Business Analyst to lead user acceptance testing (UAT) for an SAP payroll initiative. The role focuses on confirming that delivered functionality meets business needs. It may also include writing user stories, defining features, and documenting requirements with business and technical teams.

·         Key Responsibilities

·         Plan, coordinate, and run UAT cycles, including test strategy, schedules, and entry/exit criteria

·         Write and maintain UAT test scenarios, test cases, and scripts from business requirements

·         Run tests, log defects, and track them to resolution with development and functional teams

·         Support business users during testing and capture their feedback

·         Report on test progress, defect status, and go-live readiness

·         Help create features and user stories with clear acceptance criteria

·         Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements

·         Maintain traceability between requirements and test results

Required Qualifications

·         Strong background in Quality Assurance and/or Business Analysis

·         Hands-on experience planning and running UAT for enterprise systems

·         Skilled at writing test cases, user stories, and requirements documentation

·         Experience with test and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or ALM

·         Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

·         Able to work independently in a fast-paced project environment

·         Preferred Qualifications

·         SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC) experience

·         SAP Payroll / HCM experience, including payroll testing and validation

·         Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery

·         Understanding of payroll processes, compliance, and data validation
