Summary

Role: Deployment Application Consultant.

Location: - Chattanooga, TN-Day 1 Onsite

Job Description:

1. 6 - 9+ years of related work experience to successfully support the Services and direct customer handling experience.

2 .Associate is Responsible for performing the change requests assigned for implementation. 

3. Serves as primary contact for and works closely with the Unum Deployment and Certificate Management Process Managers.

4 .Provides daily, weekly, and monthly status reports that align with Unum’s operational objectives and all criteria defined herein.

5. Ensure accuracy of all reports produced by Deployment and Certification Management team.

6. Capable of developing long-term strategies, setting goals that align with the Unum’s operational objectives.

7. Ability to allocate and manage Supplier Personnel effectively, optimizing team capabilities and productivity.

8. Skilled in identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies for enhanced productivity.

9. Maintains the Supplier Personnel on-call schedule to ensure proper coverage.

10. Ensures service requests are met within the agreed upon SLAs.

11. Ensures Services substantially conform to the KPIs defined herein.

12. Ensure internal documentation, run books, operating procedures, report criteria etc. are kept up to date and changes are approved by Unum management.

13. Complete required training within agreed timeframe.

14. Identify training needs and development opportunities for Supplier Personnel and provide training for such Personnel.

15. Accountable for maintaining the Supplier Personnel roster for shift coverage and readjusting to account for unplanned PTO or business peaks.

16. Make sure Supplier Personnel follow the Unum ITO-PTO calendar.

17. Monitor overall Deliverables, evaluate metrics, and implement improvements, as approved by Unum management, for efficiency and effectiveness.

18. Strong ability to communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and higher management.

19. Capable of making strategic decisions and solving complex problems to ensure efficient Deployment and Certificate Management operations and successful performance of the Services that substantially conform to the agreed upon SLAs and KPIs as set forth herein.

20. Able to manage and lead Supplier Personnel through changes, whether in technology, processes, or organizational structure.

21. Focus on meeting the needs of internal and external customers, understanding their requirements, and ensuring exceptional delivery of the Services.

22. Continuously review the Deployment and Certificate Management procedures, identifying bottlenecks or areas for improvement, and implement enhancements to optimize the catch and dispatch process to continue to demonstrate value add to Unum and bringing industry standard best practices.

23. Maintain and update project plan(s) related to CSI initiatives.

24. Submit and coordinate Supplier Personnel access requirements.

25. Monitor risk items on a continual basis, and plan and track risks and appropriate corrective actions and/or remediation for such risks in alignment with Unum’s risk tolerance for such risks.

26. Contributes to CSI, highlight problem areas, provide assistance for incident management, problem management and change management
