Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Payroll Team Lead to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Manage the full payroll cycle, including wage calculations, deductions, benefits, adjustments, and payroll processing for multiple entities.
- Maintain accurate employee payroll records and ensure timely updates to employee compensation and personal information.
- Review payroll transactions for accuracy and compliance with applicable federal, state, and local requirements, resolving discrepancies as needed.
- Respond to payroll inquiries, prepare payroll reports and documentation, and support payroll-related audits and operational activities.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:

Education
|
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience
|
10+ years of experience in US payroll operations, including end-to-end payroll processing and multi-entity payroll administration.

|
Technical Skills
|
US payroll processing, payroll systems, payroll administration, wage and deduction calculations, benefits administration, payroll reconciliation, payroll reporting, employee record management, payroll compliance, data validation, issue resolution, Microsoft Office.

|
Business / Domain Skills
|
- US payroll operations and employee compensation processes.
- Multi-entity payroll administration.
- Employee wages, deductions, benefits, and payroll data.
- Payroll compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Payroll reporting, reconciliation, and employee inquiry management.

Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.

Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
