Summary
Information Systems Architect - Project Lead This position is open to support ongoing cloud modernization efforts, operational continuity, and expansion of AWS-based services following the completion of a prior contract term. Interview Process: 1 round, virtual (2nd round if needed) Duration of the Contract: 12 months Possibility for Extension: Yes Work Location: Role is 100% remote - due to Governor''''s orders, this position may become fully onsite with no notice. Candidates should be available to relocation to SC to start the onsite right away if required. Candidate location: No SC residency required. Open to nationwide candidates who are comfortable working EST hours. Must be able to relocate if required. Additional details: After hours or weekends hours may be required.
Required Skills
6+ years of experience supporting enterprise systems
3+ years of hands-on AWS experience in development or administration
3+ years of experience with AWS core services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, and Lambda)
3+ years of experience with Amazon Connect and/or contact center technologies
3+ years of experience integrating APIs, serverless functions, and cloud-native services
3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation
3+ years of experience with security best practices, logging, and monitoring in AWS
3+ years of experience with scripting (Python, Bash, or equivalent)
AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional OR AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional
Preferred Skills
Experience with AI/ML integrations and prompt engineering
Experience with hybrid cloud or third-party integrations
Experience with cost optimization and FinOps
Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services and Hybrid Cloud Architectures
Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305)
