Job Title: GL Accountant (General Ledger Accountant)

Location: San Jose, CA (Onsite)
Duration: 6+ Months Contract with extension

We are seeking a detail-oriented GL Accountant to manage general ledger activities, month-end close processes, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting fundamentals, experience with ERP systems, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

< data-end="567" data-start="538">Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and post journal entries to the General Ledger.
  • Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances.
  • Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules.
  • Assist with accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and company accounting policies.
  • Review and improve accounting processes and controls.
  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Finance teams.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
  • Generate ad hoc reports and management reports as required.

  • Bachelor''s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of General Ledger Accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Workday.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
  • Experience in technology, manufacturing, or semiconductor industries.
  • Knowledge of SOX compliance and internal controls.
  • Experience with BlackLine or similar reconciliation tools.
