RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Data QA Analyst in Boston, MA.
Responsibilities:
* Define and maintain data quality standards, validation rules, and monitoring processes for public health data
* Implement quality checks
* Monitor data quality across accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness, and validity
* Identify, track, and support resolution of data quality issues impacting related data assets
* Monitor and ensure technical integrity of data pipelines
* Collaborate with epidemiologists, program managers, data stewards, and developers to assess data quality impacts
* Validate data throughout ingestion, from staging through curation and analytics availability
* Maintain data dictionaries, metadata, and business rules
* Support data governance, stewardship, access controls, lineage, and standardization
* Perform QA testing for system enhancements, new data sources, and policy-driven changes
REQUIREMENTS:
* Undergraduate degree in a STEM discipline, Business, Computer Science, Public Health, related field, or equivalent experience
* Effective and good communications skills
* Ability to work with teams and independently
* Experience with public health data systems
* Familiarity with data standards
* Knowledge of HIPAA, privacy laws, and data use agreements
* Familiarity with analytic tools such as R, Python, or SAS, and reporting/visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
* Experience in creating, reviewing and maintaining end-to-end data platform requirements
* Thorough knowledge and experience of data warehouse and a cloud-based Enterprise Data solution
* Cloud database platform experience such as Snowflake
* Familiarity with AWS cloud services
* Intermediate or better SQL query skills
* Working knowledge with at least one Business Intelligence tool such as Tableau
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
