The customer is developing the next generation of space and ground architectures comprised of custom development, commercial off the shelf (COTS), and cloud-based services.

The Systems Integrator will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and System Program Office (SPO) representative facilitating execution of a Major System Acquisition (MSA) in coordination with development contractors and other stakeholders (including end user operators) to deploy new protection capabilities into space operations. The Systems Integrator collaborates within a team of mission-related SMEs to design, acquire, test, and field a complex ground software system providing Space Domain Awareness (SDA), Indications and Warning (I&W), and flight safety capabilities to protect the customer's space assets.

The Systems Integrator responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Operates as the primary facilitator to ensure cross-team collaboration to drive alignment between requirements, program objectives, and software development.
  • Evaluates system architectures, designs, and development plans and advises whether they fall short, meet, or exceed enterprise technical requirements and stakeholder expectations and provides recommendations for corrective action to achieve program objectives.
  • Observes, monitors, evaluates, and reports on Contractor's agile software development performance and provides recommendations to improve development and delivery in accordance with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) best pratices.
  • Provides support to planning, organizing, and managing critical aspects of the program's development and deployment to include Program Increment (PI) planning, sprint closeout/demonstration events, readiness assessments, system verification and validation, and Transition to Operations (TTO) activities.
  • Provides technical support for the development of pre-and-post award documents (e.g., Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs)) and the tech evaluation of contractor proposal responses.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's and 14 or more years of experience; master's and 12 or more years of experience; PhD and 9 or more years of experience in engineering, software development, systems integration, or similar field.
