In this position, you will design, plan, and support well intervention and well abandonment operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and operational excellence across multiple sites. Collaborating with production teams, contractors, and operations personnel, you will oversee project scope, budgets, and schedules while troubleshooting and optimizing well performance to maximize productivity.
Required Skills: - Bachelor of Science in Petroleum, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering from an accredited university
- Minimum of 5 years of oil and gas industry experience, with at least 3 years in wellwork operations (Permian Basin experience preferred)
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Self-motivated team player, thriving in fast-paced settings
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Wellview; familiarity with Spotfire, PowerBI, or other analytics tools is a plus
- Willingness to travel to well sites as needed
Nice to Have Skills: - Experience with artificial lift system design and implementation
- Knowledge of cost estimation and budget management
- Familiarity with contractor performance management and data quality stewardship
- Exposure to Wellview data management and analytics tools
Preferred Education and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
- At least 5 years of professional experience in oilfield operations, emphasizing wellwork activities and project management
- Hands-on experience in Permian Basin operations is highly regarded
Other Requirements: - Valid driver's license with willingness to travel frequently to operational sites
