Key Responsibilities
- Follow established QA methodologies, processes, and organizational quality standards.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Provide QA effort estimates during sprint planning and release planning activities.
- Analyze and identify ambiguities, gaps, and risks in requirements and collaborate with stakeholders for clarification.
- Design and develop comprehensive test scenarios and detailed test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Execute manual and/or automated test cases across multiple test environments.
- Identify, log, track, and manage defects using test and defect management tools such as JIRA.
- Apply various testing techniques including functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple testing efforts in parallel.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements and actively participate in implementing quality improvements.
- Ensure adherence to QA best practices, documentation standards, and delivery timelines.
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance / Software Testing.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, processes, and standards.
- Proven experience testing within Agile/Scrum environments.
- Expertise in test scenario creation, test case development, and execution.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
- Strong skills in test effort estimation and workload planning.
- Solid technical aptitude with the ability to understand system architecture and data flows.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task effectively and work across multiple environments simultaneously.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Exposure to automation testing tools and frameworks.
- Experience working in enterprise-scale applications or regulated environments.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps-integrated testing practices.
