Join us and make a difference in National Security! Leidos is seeking a
System Engineer who has experience working all phases of the system engineering lifecycle from concept to sustainment. This includes the ability to produce documentation and drawing packages as required. The Engineer must be willing to learn and be prepared to work with a small, mission focused team that frequently interacts with other teams, users, and customers.
Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related IT discipline, plus a minimum of six (6) years of relevant systems engineering experience. Candidates without a bachelor's degree may qualify with ten (10) years of directly related engineering experience.
- Strong SA Experience to include Linux (RedHat/CentOS/Rocky) experience: Installation, Configuration. Management, Authentication/Authorization (FreeIPA/Active Directory)
- Strong Testing and Troubleshooting Skills
- STE/STN experience: Installation, Configuration and Management in connected and disconnected environments
- Strong GOTS Software experience: Installation and maintenance
- Ability to create, read and modify scripts (bash/python)
- Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI with polygraph
Desired Qualifications:- Familiarity with Shared Storage Solutions
- Virtualization and Containerization experience (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Data Flow Experience
- Familiarity with Ansible and SALT
- Familiarity with Helm Charts and YAML Files
- DevOps Experience
