Job Description:

Apex Systems is looking to hire a FULLY ONSITE Data Analyst (Quality & Customer Insights) for our client based out of Greensboro, NC.

This assignment is anticipated to be a 12-month contract with strong potential for extension; however, Apex Systems cannot guarantee the length of this assignment.

This will also have a first-shift Monday-Friday schedule. This role is fully onsite. Candidates must be local to the Greensboro, NC area or willing to relocate prior to start.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to product quality and customer experience.
  • Support detection of emerging issues and contribute to root cause identification through data analysis and modeling techniques.
  • Develop and implement analytical methodologies to improve performance, reliability, and overall customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Work with multiple data sources (e.g., operational, customer, service, and manufacturing data) to generate actionable insights.
  • Build dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings clearly to stakeholders and support decision-making.
  • Apply statistical and machine learning techniques (e.g., classification, regression, clustering, anomaly detection) to solve complex problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, and data teams to ensure alignment on analytics initiatives.
  • Support data structuring, modeling, and transformation processes to improve accessibility and usability of data.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to enhance analytics tools, processes, and workflows.
  • Communicate technical findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Experience working in a data analytics role, ideally supporting technical, quality, or operational functions.
  • Strong proficiency with Power BI or similar visualization tools.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, R, or similar analytics tools and programming languages.
  • Experience working with cloud-based analytics platforms or big data tools (preferred).
  • Understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques such as regression, clustering, and classification.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights to diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional environments.

  • Experience working with quality, product performance, or operational data.
  • Exposure to advanced analytics or machine learning initiatives in a production environment.
  • Experience with data engineering concepts or working alongside data engineering teams.
