JOB SKILLS

Technical Skills Mandatory    

•           Strong expertise in Duck Creek Suite (Policy, Billing, Claims modules)     Experience with: MuleSoft or other ESB/iPaaS platforms

•           Hands-on experience with:

         Duck Creek Author (Policy, Billing, Claims)

         Rating & Product Definition

         Forms and Transaction Configuration

         Integration Author (DECISION)

         Manuscript Author (Document generation)

         Express (UI design)      •           Knowledge of:VBScript (legacy implementations)

•           Strong programming skills in:

         .NET (C#)

         JavaScript

         XML / XSLT

         HTML/CSS       •           Exposure to DevOps:

         CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins)

         Version control (Git, TFS, SVN)

•           Experience with:

         REST / SOAP APIs

         JSON/XML data processing      Experience with: Duck Creek OnDemand (Cloud hosting)

•           Strong database knowledge:

         SQL Server

         Query optimization

         Duck Creek data model understanding  

•           Experience in system integration (API/middleware-based)           •          

Process / Domain Knowledge Mandatory       

•           Strong understanding of Insurance domain (P&C preferred)       

         Enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, etc.)

•           Deep knowledge of:

         Policy lifecycle (quote → bind → issue → renew)

         Billing processes

         Claims lifecycle

•           Experience in:

         Requirement analysis & gap analysis

         Solution design aligned to business needs         

Job Duties and Responsibilities

•           Act as Solution Architect / SME for Duck Creek platform across Policy, Billing, and Claims

•           Translate business requirements into:

         Technical architecture

         Scalable and optimized solutions

•           Lead:

         Solution design discussions

         Architecture reviews

•           Perform: Gap analysis and recommend best-fit solutions

•           Drive:End-to-end implementation across SDLC

•           Ensure:

         Integration with external systems (APIs, middleware)

         Performance, scalability, and security of solutions

•           Collaborate with:

         Business stakeholders

         Development and QA teams

•           Provide: Technical guidance and mentoring to team members

•           Support: Deployment, release management, and production issues
