Job Description
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise observability solutions using the Dynatrace platform.
- Architect end-to-end Dynatrace deployments including OneAgent, ActiveGate, cluster sizing, and configuration across hybrid and cloud-native environments.
- Define observability standards, best practices, and reference architectures aligned with reliability engineering principles.
- Assess existing monitoring and observability tools, identify gaps, and drive modernization initiatives leveraging Dynatrace capabilities.
- Design and implement SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets using Dynatrace metrics, events, logs, and traces.
- Configure and optimize Dynatrace features including APM, infrastructure monitoring, log analytics, and digital experience monitoring.
- Integrate Dynatrace with AWS services, Kubernetes platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and ITSM tools.
- Enable automation and event-driven remediation using Dynatrace APIs, workflows, and integrations to reduce operational toil.
- Partner with SRE, DevOps, and engineering teams to improve incident detection, triage, and resolution times.
- Support and lead blameless post-incident reviews, using Dynatrace insights to identify root causes and systemic improvements.
- Provide architectural guidance for new services to ensure observability and reliability are embedded from design through production.
- Mentor engineers and consultants on Dynatrace best practices, observability strategies, and performance optimization techniques.
