Description
Seeking a hands-on Electronics Technician with strong troubleshooting abilities and a passion for solving complex technical challenges. This role supports test laboratories, maintains automatic test equipment, and works closely with engineers to ensure mission-critical systems operate reliably. Ideal candidates are self-starters who enjoy working with oscilloscopes, soldering irons, and advanced diagnostic tools in a technical, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and resolve issues with automatic test equipment and electronic control systems
Respond to problem reports from engineering teams and restore systems to operational status
Perform preventative maintenance and support one-off engineering and development projects
Read and interpret electrical schematics; troubleshoot electronic circuits and communication buses
Collaborate with cross-functional team members on complex hardware and software integration tasks
Utilize diagnostic tools (oscilloscopes, bus monitors, voltmeters) and perform soldering as needed
Participate in design, build, and prototype activities for specialized technical equipment

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Education: Associate's degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or a related field (Computer Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Broadcast Engineering, or similar)
Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on technical experience in electronics, networking, or a related discipline
Ability to read schematics and identify electronic components (resistors, diodes, transistors)
Familiarity with diagnostic tools and basic soldering techniques
U.S. Citizenship required due to government security requirements

Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on DIY mindset (comfort with home or automotive projects)
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to quickly learn new technologies

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
