Job Overview:
Pay Range: $60.00hr - $65.00hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- Prior experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Data Analyst in Data Warehouse projects with strong ETL concepts.
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders to discuss, understand, and document requirements.
- Exposure to Databricks or Azure cloud environments with the ability to write SQL code in a cloud environment.
- Strong SQL skills and data mapping experience.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work closely with Data Modelers to arrive at a domain data model.
- Basic knowledge of writing syntaxes and a solid background in programming languages.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Gather business requirements and convert them into IT requirements with clear acceptance criteria.
- Liaise with business owners and IT leaders within the organization on a weekly and monthly basis to ensure IT deliveries meet project goals and vision.
- Analyze and document business requirements using industry-standard analysis techniques such as UML, data flow modeling, workflow analysis, functional decomposition analysis, and business rule definition.
- Conceptualize the solution framework and prepare business specification documents.
- Set up review meetings for documents requiring approval.
- Perform knowledge transition to the development team for proposed requirements.
- Collaborate across business and technology functions to ensure comprehensive business solutions are implemented.
