Pay Range: $42.00hr - $47.00hr
Job Overview:
Responsible for the design, development, enhancement, testing, and support of Mainframe applications using COBOL, DB2, and JCL technologies. This role involves working on critical business applications, analyzing requirements, developing efficient solutions, and ensuring seamless application performance in a production environment. Preferred experience includes AI tools usage (GHCP, Gemini) and automation.
Abilities and Knowledge:
- 5+ years of experience as a Mainframe Developer.
- Strong SDLC knowledge.
- Extensive COBOL and JCL experience.
- Strong DB2 and SQL expertise.
- Experience with CA7, files, and batch processing.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement Mainframe solutions.
- Develop and maintain COBOL, DB2, and JCL applications.
- Resolve production issues and support deployments.
Skill Proficiency Requirements:
- COBOL - Expert.
- IBM DB2 - Expert.
- JCL - Expert.
- CA7 - Moderate.
