Summary

Sr Data Analyst

The Sr Data Analyst will provide reporting and analytical insight to support to the Client Services Group by means of standardizing and automating operational and performance metrics and reporting.

We're in search for a seasoned analyst/developer with experience in providing reporting and has a strong technical mindset of solving complex analytical problems. This candidate will need to have an expert-level grasp of SQL, understanding data and database technologies and be able to develop visualizations that assist business leadership in understanding patterns, dependencies, and interconnections of key metrics. The qualified candidate will be a highly motivated individual who has a passion for developing innovative/creative solutions in a fast-paced environment. This individual must be a self-starter who possesses exceptional technical and critical thinking skills, the ability to work independently, and must have excellent oral/written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Design and execute data extract/transform/load (ETL) scripts and environment migrations
  • Partner with business areas to define critical reporting needs and provide guidance regarding the availability of data and set expectations around delivery of results
  • Ad-hoc analyses that span multiple databases of potentially mixed levels of normalization and data integrity
  • Work with our IT partners in establishing access to data sources, obtaining definitions of data sets, and ensuring the reliability and accuracy of information
  • Provide support for development and infrastructure issues surrounding the availability of reporting platforms
  • Using a combination of database and web technologies to deliver web-based self-service interfaces ranging from corporate-level scorecard metrics down to the performance of individual client services representatives
  • Analyze data and present results to both technical and non-technical audiences

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree Required

Work Experience
  • 3+ Years Required; 5+ Years Preferred

REQUIRED SKILLS
  • A minimum of 3+ years of related experience in a technical role required
  • Mastery of SQL and strong understanding of data relationships/ relational databases, experience working with large datasets
  • Strong understanding of ETL concepts, and experience using multiple tools/programming languages
  • Support reporting and analysis of key business metrics


PREFERRED SKILLS
  • 5 years of related experience in a technical role
  • Independent worker and problem solver
  • Ability to multitask and operate independently under strict timelines
  • Ability to manage change in a highly dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of oracle database administration
  • Knowledge of other programming languages like Python and PHP is a plus
  • Knowledge of Tableau and/or intermediate web design

Base Pay Range: $88,900/yr - $117,000/yr

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
