Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Data Scientists to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT data pipelines using Databricks, Apache Spark, and modern data engineering best practices.
- Build and maintain data lakehouse architectures, implement data governance standards, and ensure data quality, security, and performance.
- Develop data models, dashboards, and analytics solutions to support business intelligence and enterprise reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions and support CI/CD, orchestration, and production deployments.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:

Education
|
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience
|
8+ years of experience in data engineering, Databricks development, data warehousing, and enterprise data solution delivery.

Technical Skills
|
Databricks, Apache Spark, SQL, Python, Delta Lake, Lakeflow Pipelines, Data Warehousing, ETL/ELT Development

|
Business / Domain Skills
|
Data Modeling, Data Governance, Data Quality Management, Business Intelligence, Stakeholder Collaboration, Problem Solving

Communication
|
Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.

Documentation
|
Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.

Work Authorization
|
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and data pipeline automation.
- Databricks certification or equivalent experience with cloud-based data platforms.
- Experience working in public sector or regulated enterprise environments.
