Role: VMware Engineer – Banking Domain
Location: Jersey City, NJ(Onsite)
Experience: 10+ Years
We are looking for a VMware Engineer with strong experience in Banking/Financial Services environments. The candidate will support enterprise VMware infrastructure for mission-critical banking applications, trading platforms, and production systems.
Required Skills:
VMware vSphere 8+, ESXi, vCenter.
VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF 9) & vSAN.
Aria Operations / vRealize Suite (VRLI, VRNI).
Capacity Monitoring & Performance Optimization.
VMware Automation using PowerCLI, Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Server Lifecycle Management.
Tier 2/3 Production Support & DR Activities.
Hardware Refresh, Patching, Upgrades & Migration Support.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain enterprise VMware infrastructure in a high-availability banking environment.
Perform capacity planning, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Support disaster recovery, failover testing, and business continuity activities.
Automate VMware administration and infrastructure deployment tasks.
Work closely with storage, network, security, and application teams.
Ensure compliance with banking security and operational standards.
Preferred:
Experience with Banking or Financial Services clients.
Strong communication and troubleshooting skills.
