Role Summary

We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to lead the user experience design for a healthcare-focused enterprise platform. The role will work closely with Marketing, business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering teams to simplify complex healthcare workflows and data-heavy experiences into intuitive, accessible, and consistent user journeys.

This is primarily a UX / Product Design role. It is not a front-end development role.

Key Responsibilities

·        Lead UX discovery, design, and validation for enterprise healthcare applications.

·        Partner closely with Marketing and business stakeholders to understand user personas, workflows, pain points, and desired outcomes.

·        Facilitate stakeholder interviews, discovery sessions, design workshops, and design reviews.

·        Create user journeys, task flows, information architecture, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.

·        Design intuitive experiences for dashboards, healthcare KPIs, alerts, insights, drill-downs, and other data-rich workflows.

·        Design role-based experiences for business users, analysts, operations teams, and leadership personas.

·        Work within the existing enterprise design system and ensure consistency across the overall product experience.

·        Collaborate with product, architecture, engineering, and QA teams to ensure designs are feasible and implemented as intended.

·        Incorporate stakeholder and user feedback through iterative design cycles.

·        Ensure designs meet usability, responsive design, accessibility, and Section 508 / WCAG expectations.

Required Skills and Experience

·        7+ years of experience in UX Design, Product Design, Interaction Design, or a closely related discipline.

·        Strong hands-on experience with Figma or equivalent design and prototyping tools.

·        Proven experience designing enterprise portals, dashboards, analytics applications, and information-dense user experiences.

·        Strong understanding of user-centered design, interaction design, information architecture, usability, and visual hierarchy.

·        Experience conducting stakeholder interviews, workshops, usability reviews, and requirements discovery.

·        Experience working with established design systems and reusable component libraries.

·        Knowledge of WCAG and Section 508 accessibility standards.

·        Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain design decisions to both business and technical stakeholders.

·        Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product, Engineering, QA, and business SMEs.

Healthcare Domain Knowledge

·        Healthcare domain experience is required.

·        Experience with healthcare payer, Medicaid, managed care, or public-sector healthcare programs is strongly preferred.

·        Understanding of common healthcare data and workflows such as claims, eligibility, enrollment, providers, members, utilization, and operational reporting.

·        Familiarity with healthcare KPIs, analytics, and performance reporting.

·        Understanding of PHI / PII considerations and HIPAA-aware application design.

·        Experience designing applications for healthcare business users, analysts, operations teams, or leadership stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

·        Experience designing UX for analytics, reporting, or decision-support platforms.

·        Experience with complex enterprise workflows involving multiple user roles and permissions.

·        Experience working with Marketing or customer-experience teams on enterprise product design.

·        Exposure to AI-enabled product experiences is a plus, but AI or agentic AI development experience is not required.

·        Experience with Medicaid or government healthcare programs is highly desirable.
