Job Details

Responsibilities

1. Lead the design, development, and deployment of applications using Node.JS and React.
2. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure their successful implementation.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
4. Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and secure API integrations.
5. Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline and automate processes.
6. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the engineering team.
7. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for system enhancements.
8. Manage third-party services integrations such as ZenDesk, SmartCom, and Axway.
9. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
10. Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, and testing.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Node.JS, React, and Insurance.
3. Proven experience in API development and third-party services integration.
4. Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and related tools.
5. Hands-on experience with ZenDesk, SmartCom, and Axway.
6. Deep understanding of the insurance industry and its digital needs.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills with a knack for complex challenges.
8. Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide a team.
9. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
11. Strong knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies.
