Job Description: Primary Purpose
Develop scalable backend services, APIs, integrations, and automation supporting CAE, Mission Control, SPT Hub, and other internal engineering applications.

• Develop APIs connecting front-end applications, databases, and enterprise systems.
• Create reusable microservices for common SPT capabilities.
• Integrate systems such as SAP, SFC, Databricks, Splunk, and other engineering data sources.
• Develop automation for workflows, data movement, and system-to-system interactions.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, and role-based access.
• Improve backend scalability, reliability, monitoring, and performance.
• Support database design and query optimization where needed.
• Partner with UI, database, analytics, and Power Platform engineers.
• Help build API/MCP interfaces so SPT data can support both traditional applications and agent-based workflows.
