Job Description

We are seeking an experienced UI React Developer to join our team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience building scalable, production-grade front-end applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and AG Grid, with exposure to Python/Django APIs.

The candidate will work closely with front-end and back-end engineering teams to develop end-to-end features, improve application performance, and deliver high-quality solutions through modern CI/CD and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop highly scalable front-end applications using React.js, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Build advanced data-driven interfaces using AG Grid, including server-side data loading, filtering, and performance optimization.

• Design responsive, user-friendly interfaces and improve overall UX.

• Deploy applications to Azure using CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions.

• Collaborate with backend engineers to consume and enhance Python/Django APIs.

• Identify and resolve application performance issues and bottlenecks.

• Implement authentication and authorization using SSO, OIDC/OAuth2, and RBAC.

• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and develop unit tests.

• Contribute to shared UI component libraries and design systems using Storybook.

• Participate in code reviews, refactoring, and establishing engineering standards.

• Develop clear technical documentation and communicate design and technical decisions.

• Work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional engineering team.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.

• Strong production experience with React and TypeScript.

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and browser APIs.

• Hands-on experience with AG Grid, including server-side data loading, filtering, and performance tuning.

• Experience with modern front-end build tools such as Node.js, Vite, npm, and monorepos/workspaces.

• Experience building reusable UI components and design systems with Storybook.

• Strong understanding of front-end performance and accessibility.

• Experience consuming and working with REST APIs.

• Experience with Python/Django is preferred.

• Experience with SQL and data modeling.

• Experience implementing SSO, OIDC/OAuth2, and RBAC.

• Experience with automated testing and code-quality practices.

• Experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tools.

• Cloud deployment experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform; Azure preferred.
