About the Role

This role focuses on executing a repeatable and auditable Verification & Validation (V&V) process for safety-critical embedded software. You will contribute to unit, integration, and system-level testing activities while ensuring compliance with stringent safety standards. The position requires hands-on testing, documentation, traceability analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in project Kick-off and Baseline Review meetings
• Align on baseline artifacts, tools, environments, and review software requirements, design, and architecture
• Develop, execute, and document unit, integration, and system-level test cases
• Conduct structural and functional testing based on safety-critical software requirements
• Configure static analysis tools, unit test frameworks, and CI pipelines
• Perform code reviews, static analysis, and compliance checks
• Conduct full traceability across requirements, design, code, and tests
• Populate and maintain DOORS for bi-directional traceability
• Generate test procedures, test reports, defect logs, and certification evidence
• Design test cases including boundary, stress, and fault-injection scenarios
• Track, verify, and close defects including root-cause analysis
• Run nightly test cycles, capture logs, maintain defect databases, and issue weekly status reports

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in embedded software development
• Strong hands-on programming experience in C
• 2-4 years of experience in software testing or fault-insertion testing
• Experience with DOORS (1-2 years)
• Proficiency in creating and executing test plans for safety-critical software

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience with C++
• Prior work with certification-driven industries (avionics, automotive, rail, medical devices)
• Familiarity with static analysis automation and CI pipelines
