Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer for our Open Banking Channel. This position is responsible for leading the development of API services and UI components. This role involves working with a platform that supports millions of customers, where stability, resiliency, and scalability are critical factors. The channel enables interaction with third-party products and services to provide and consume user-consented data sharing.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of API services and UI components for the Open Banking Channel.
- Manage vendor and Fintech API integrations for both inbound and outbound data sharing.
- Develop target state architectures that enable business and product strategies across various lines of business.
- Ensure platform stability, resiliency, and scalability for a large customer base.
- Interface with both development and infrastructure teams to support end-to-end transaction flow resiliency.
- Utilize AI in standard development practices to enhance solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a strong technical Subject Matter Expert with an understanding of APIs, the OAuth 2.0 authorization framework, gateway technologies, monitoring, and capacity management concepts.
- Understanding of API and data exchange principles.
- Familiarity with financial industry standards such as Open Financial Exchange (OFX), Durable Data API (DDA), and/or Financial Data Exchange (FDX).
- Knowledge of RESTful patterns and the OAuth 2.0 authorization framework.
- Proficiency with Soap/Rest Webservices.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Familiarity with Splunk and AppDynamics.
- Must possess strong strategic thinking, execution, communication, and relationship management skills.
Work Environment
This position requires a hybrid schedule with a minimum of three days per week onsite.
