Job description:
We are seeking a highly skilled File Transfer solutions architect hands-on engineering, platform ownership, and solution architecture responsibilities. This role is accountable for the design, implementation, automation, governance, and operational excellence of enterprise-wide secure file transfer (MFT), B2B integration, and API-based data exchange platforms within a regulated healthcare environment. The position requires deep expertise in Axway B2Bi, Transfer CFT, Sentinel, API integrations, automation, databases, security, and healthcare compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end architecture, design, and strategic roadmap for the Axway secure file transfer and B2B integration platform.
- Act as the technical authority and solution architect for Axway B2Bi, Transfer CFT, Sentinel, and related integration technologies.
- Lead hands-on implementation, configuration, and optimization of file transfer workflows, partner integrations, and mappings.
- Define enterprise standards, design patterns, and best practices for secure file transfer, APIs, and integrations.
- Architect highly available, scalable, and resilient solutions including clustering, load balancing, disaster recovery, and failover.
- Lead automation initiatives for deployments, partner onboarding, certificate management, and configuration using CI/CD pipelines and scripting.
- Design and implement automated operational reporting, dashboards, alerts, and SLA monitoring using Sentinel and database integrations.
- Architect and govern REST and SOAP API integrations, including authentication, authorization, and lifecycle management.
- Ensure data security, encryption in transit and at rest, PKI, certificate lifecycle management, and key rotation.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, HITECH), security standards (SOC 2), and internal governance policies.
- Partner closely with Information Security, Infrastructure, Data Governance, Compliance, and Application teams.
- Lead production support, incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Serve as the highest-level escalation point for complex technical and architectural issues.
- Mentor, guide, and provide technical leadership to Axway engineers and file transfer team members.
- Review solution designs, code, mappings, and configurations for quality, security, and compliance.
- Produce and maintain architecture documentation, runbooks, onboarding guides, and audit evidence.
- Participate in enterprise architecture reviews, security risk assessments, vendor evaluations, and technology governance forums.
