The ITS Project Manager II leads technology projects for the Information Technology Services (ITS) Project Management Office, working closely with Radiology IT and clinical/operational partners. This role translates project goals into actionable plans, facilitates collaboration across technical and clinical teams, and ensures successful delivery of IT solutions that support Radiology's patient-care mission. The PM operates with independence, using standard project management approaches to organize work, manage stakeholders, and drive project execution in a fast-paced, complex healthcare environment.

Responsibilities- Facilitate project intake and priority coordination, and lead and coordinate IT projects from planning through implementation and closure.
- Supports projects tied to information technology, clinical operations, image lifecycle management, diagnostic workflows, and patient-facing technology.
- Develop project scope, schedules, risks, and status reports using standard project management tools.
- Apply appropriate methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid) to fit project needs.
- Facilitate effective meetings, communicate progress, and escalate issues proactively.
- Collaborates regularly with Radiology IT leadership, modality managers (CT, MRI, US, X-ray), and clinical stakeholders to coordinate technology implementations.
- Manage risks, changes, and dependencies to support on-time delivery.
- Maintain clear project documentation and support continuous improvement within the PMO.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities- Working knowledge of project management principles with the ability to tailor methods to various technical and clinical environments.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills that adapt to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to prioritize and sequence work across multiple projects.
- Sound judgment in navigating ambiguity, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating across teams.
- Comfort with IT concepts, systems, and data needed to manage technical and clinical application projects.
- Projects may involve imaging systems (e.g., PACS, RIS), integrations, modality upgrades, workflow enhancements, and clinical space technology improvements.
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate with multidisciplinary partners.
QualificationsRequired- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, or Business Administration or Computer Science or Health Care Administration or equivalent.
Qualifications (Preferred)Preferred- FIVE years of progressively responsible experience in business, healthcare, or IT, including at least TWO years of formal project management.
- Experience working in technical, operational, or healthcare environments.
- Basic project management certification (e.g., CAPM) or willingness to obtain.
- Previous project management or project coordinator experience.
- Project Management Professionals (PMPs) with Strong Knowledge of PMI processes.
- Master's degree in Business, Information Systems, or Healthcare Administration.
- PMP, CSM, or other PM-related certification (or ability to obtain).
- IT certifications (e.g., ITIL , CompTIA).
- Experience in healthcare information systems or healthcare technology project management.
- Knowledge of and experience with Radiology imaging systems (i.e. PACS, RIS).
