The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our team as a strong individual contributor. You''ll spend your time building, designing, and shipping features in our web and mobile applications that millions of people rely on every year.

What You''ll Do

  • Design, build, and ship features across the full stack (backend, web, mobile).
  • Work inside a project team (Product Owner, 2–3 developers, QA) shipping features end-to-end.
  • Use AI tooling deliberately and well: lean on AI tools to move faster, but ship code you understand and can defend in review.

Tech Stack

  • Backend: C#, ASP.NET Core, EF Core, MSSQL
  • Web frontend: ReactJS, TypeScript
  • Mobile: Kotlin Multiplatform
  • Cloud & DevOps: Azure, GitHub, Octopus Deploy
  • AI tooling: We actively use Claude Code, Codex, Copilot, and other AI tools in our day-to-day development. Bring your own preferences and opinions.

What We''re Looking For

Must-Haves:

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong working experience with C#/.NET and a modern frontend framework (React preferred).
  • Proven ability to design and ship scalable web applications in production.
  • Hands-on experience using AI coding tools as part of your daily workflow.
  • A bias toward experimentation. You''ve tried new tools, prompts, or workflows and can talk about what worked and what didn''t.
  • A high bar for craft. You notice UI/UX details others miss, write code your teammates want to read, and treat code review as a first-class part of the job rather than a chore.
  • Self-direction and discipline for fully remote work, including consistent availability during normal working hours in CST or EST.
  • Comfort working in small, visible increments. You ship focused PRs, surface progress and blockers early, and prefer continuous feedback over big batches.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Familiarity with Kotlin Multiplatform or other mobile development.
  • Experience with Azure or comparable cloud platforms.
  • Domain knowledge in payment processing, identity verification, or government systems.

Key Deliverables

1 Month:

  • Onboarded to the team, codebase, and product.
  • Shipping sprint items independently.
  • Comfortable with our AI tooling and development workflow.

3 Months:

  • Contributing meaningfully to technical design discussions inside the project team.
  • Identifying and proposing small process or tooling improvements.
  • Trusted to own and ship medium-sized features end-to-end.

6 Months:

  • Owning a meaningful technical area or system within the codebase end-to-end.
  • Driving at least one substantive technical improvement (refactor, tooling, testing, or AI workflow) that benefits the broader team.
  • Acting as a go-to person for teammates on at least one part of the product.

  3. Take-Home Exercise: A practical, domain-relevant problem-solving challenge. You''re encouraged to use AI tools the way you would on the job, and we''ll discuss your process during the technical interview.
  4. Code Review & Technical Interview: A discussion to review your take-home exercise, work through follow-up technical questions, and talk about how you use AI tooling in your day-to-day work.
  5. Decision Time: Our team collaborates on a holistic assessment of the candidate and provides constructive feedback regardless of outcome.
