Required Skills & Qualifications
- Primary Skill: Extensive experience with Sitecore XM Cloud (Architecture, Configuration, and Implementation).
- Sitecore Platform: Deep expertise in traditional Sitecore CMS, including content modeling and personalization.
- Headless Tech: Proven track record building headless and composable digital experience platforms (DXP).
- Experience: Typically 10+ years in web/digital platform architecture with significant hands-on Sitecore experience.
- Integrations: Strong knowledge of API-based architectures and enterprise-scale cloud-native development.
Job Summary
We are seeking a Sitecore XM Cloud Architect to provide high-level technical leadership and architectural oversight for enterprise-scale digital experience initiatives. This role is focused on designing scalable, headless, and composable digital platforms using Sitecore s cloud-native suite. You will act as the primary technical advisor for stakeholders, guiding engineering teams through complex implementations and driving innovation via proof-of-concepts (POCs). The ideal candidate has a deep mastery of content modeling, personalization, and modern API-based architectures.
Technical Core & Responsibilities
Cloud-Native & Headless Architecture
- XM Cloud Strategy: Lead the architecture and configuration of Sitecore XM Cloud, transitioning from legacy monolithic setups to modern cloud-native environments.
- Composable DXP: Design headless solutions that leverage a "best-of-breed" stack, ensuring seamless integration between Sitecore and external APIs/microservices.
- Content Modeling: Architect complex content structures and personalization rules to drive dynamic, multi-channel digital experiences.
Leadership & Solution Delivery
- Architectural Oversight: Ensure all implementations align with enterprise standards, technology roadmaps, and long-term business objectives.
- Technical Mentorship: Guide engineering teams through the delivery lifecycle, resolving high-level technical blockers and conducting architecture reviews.
- Innovation & POCs: Design and execute pilot initiatives for emerging technologies, including integrations with modern frontend frameworks (Next.js/React).
Stakeholder Engagement
- Technical Advisory: Act as the bridge between technical delivery teams and non-technical business stakeholders, clearly articulating complex architectural decisions.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and resolve risks related to third-party integrations, data flows, and architectural patterns.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Next.js or similar modern frontend frameworks in a Sitecore context.
- Background in Digital Transformation programs within large-scale enterprises.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery models and DevOps automation for Sitecore.
