Summary

Payrate: $75.00 - $80.00/hr.

Summary:
The candidate will support the "WAIST" (Why Am I Seeing This?) feature across Company’s Platform, focusing on managing and maintaining ML classification models, monitoring data quality, analyzing dataset integrity, and investigating performance regressions.

Responsibilities

Deliver well-scoped software enhancements and features aligned to project goals and timelines.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following established engineering standards.
Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve quality and reliability.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across the development lifecycle.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, design, data, security) to support execution of defined deliverables.
Create and maintain technical documentation for implemented solutions.
Contribute to operational excellence, including monitoring, incident response support, and performance improvements as needed.

Qualifications

Experience with developing evaluated machine learning models, particularly classification models.
Experience building or supporting ML systems in production environments.
3 years of professional software engineering experience.
Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, Go, or similar).
Experience building, testing, and maintaining production-quality software.
Experience with common development practices and tools (e.g., version control, code review, CI/CD).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $75.00 - $80.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, health savings accounts with qualified medical plan enrollment, 10 paid days off, 3 days paid bereavement leave, 401(k) plan participation with employer match, life and disability insurance, commuter benefits, dependent care flexible spending account, accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, accommodations and reimbursement for work travel, and discretionary performance or recognition bonus. Sick leave and mobile phone reimbursement provided based on state or local law.
