Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Data Platforms / Data Engineering professional to build and support large-scale data systems that enable analytics and business decision-making. This role requires strong hands-on development skills, deep understanding of data architecture, and the ability to collaborate directly with business teams.

What You ll Do

• Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise-scale data pipelines supporting structured and unstructured datasets

• Write efficient, optimized SQL queries and Python-based data processing logic

• Design and maintain data models to support reporting, analytics, and downstream applications

• Work with distributed data processing and streaming platforms such as Spark and Kafka

• Implement transformations and performance tuning using PySpark

• Translate business requirements into scalable technical data solutions

• Support analytical use cases using foundational machine learning techniques (e.g., regression, classification, clustering)

• Partner with product owners, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights

• Ensure data reliability, scalability, and performance across high-volume environments

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Platform development

• Strong hands-on expertise with SQL and Python

• Experience with Big Data ecosystems, including Spark and Kafka

• Solid background in data modeling and data architecture

• Working knowledge of PySpark

• Understanding of basic statistical and ML concepts:

  • Regression

  • Decision Trees

  • Clustering

• Proven ability to work in business-facing roles

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
