Summary

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Solution Architect and Delivery Leader to provide end-to-end architecture oversight and technical delivery assurance for an enterprise SAP transformation initiative.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP BTP, SAP ECC, enterprise architecture, systems integration, master data management, and vendor governance. This role involves independently reviewing solution designs, validating system integrator deliverables, managing technical risks, and coordinating with cross-functional technology and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

Own end-to-end solution architecture oversight across SAP BTP, Incture Cherrywork, SAP ECC, integrations, security, and enterprise data flows.
Review and validate technical designs, architecture decisions, customizations, and integration approaches.
Oversee system integrator delivery, including project plans, estimates, milestones, resource quality, dependencies, and contracted scope.
Coordinate with SAP, BTP, Basis, Security, Integration, Infrastructure, and Enterprise Architecture teams.
Independently review architecture documents, functional and technical specifications (FS/TS), NFRs, interface designs, and data mapping documents.
Identify technical gaps, delivery risks, dependencies, and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with Product, Business, Engineering, and PMO teams across vendor onboarding, business partner management, article management, and cost management.
Oversee SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, and hypercare readiness.
Ensure production readiness, security compliance, knowledge transfer, and operational supportability.
Provide technical updates and escalate critical risks to senior IT leadership and governance teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

12–15+ years of relevant SAP and enterprise technology experience.
Strong experience in SAP Solution Architecture and Enterprise Architecture.
Expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
Strong understanding of SAP ECC and enterprise systems integration.
Experience with Master Data Management and enterprise data flows.
Experience with SI/vendor management, technical governance, and delivery oversight.
Ability to independently evaluate and challenge system integrator architecture and delivery decisions.
Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams.
Experience overseeing SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, and hypercare.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Incture's Cherrywork platform.
Retail or wholesale industry experience.
Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager, SAP Basis, and SAP Security.
Experience with data streaming, data governance, and enterprise integration.
Experience working on large-scale SAP transformation initiatives.
