  • Review quality requirements, inspection criteria, and supporting documentation for customer approval submissions.
  • Review CAD models for engineering applications, prototype molds, and 3D printing applications.
  • Identify project risks and technical issues, evaluate potential solutions, and coordinate corrective actions to minimize delays and support successful project completion.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, customers, tooling suppliers, tool shops, and component suppliers to support project execution and resolve technical issues.

Tooling and Engineering Support:

  • Apply knowledge of injection molds, tooling design, and plastic injection molding processes to support project development, troubleshooting, and manufacturing requirements.
  • Coordinate tooling modifications, repairs, and revisions for new and existing projects in collaboration with internal teams and external tool shops and suppliers.
  • Provide technical support to Production and Quality in resolving tooling, part design, and processing issues.
  • Support prototype development and evaluate CAD designs for applicable engineering and manufacturing uses.

Documentation and Communication:

  • Maintain accurate, organized project documentation, including customer requirements, technical information, project milestones, decisions, changes, and approval records.
  • Communicate project progress, risks, concerns, and changes to appropriate internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
