About the Role
We are seeking an experienced CICS Systems Administrator / Mainframe Systems Programmer to support a large enterprise financial services environment. This role is part of a Resiliency Uplift Initiative, focused on strengthening high availability, disaster recovery, and infrastructure modernization across mission-critical mainframe platforms.
This is NOT an application developer role.
We are looking for systems-level infrastructure expertise.
What You'll Do
Install, configure, and maintain IBM CICS TS in z/OS environments
Support CICS infrastructure, region management, and systems-level troubleshooting
Enhance resiliency and fault tolerance within enterprise CICS environments
Support disaster recovery planning and failover readiness
Partner with enterprise infrastructure teams on modernization initiatives
Participate in production support and system stability improvements
What We're Looking For
- 8 years IT min
- 3 5+ years of CICS Systems Programming or Systems Administration experience
- CICSplex
- Strong Mainframe (z/OS) background
- Experience with CICS infrastructure (not application development)
- Production support in large enterprise environments
- Ability to work onsite 5 days per week
