The Program Manager will oversee multiple related projects, ensuring they align with organizational goals, and managing stakeholder relationships to achieve strategic objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and monitor progress to ensure that milestones are being met across various projects and programs.
  • Manage the risks and issues that might arise throughout the program life cycle and take measures to correct them when they occur.
  • Manage and use resources across the various projects in the program.
  • Manage stakeholders who are involved in the program.
  • Define requirements and plan project lifecycle deployment.
  • Define and schedule project/program implementations.
  • Planning and scheduling project deliverables, goals, and milestones.
  • Direct and oversee project engineering teams and manage conflicts within a group.
  • Perform team assessments and evaluations.
  • Identify and solve project issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Demonstrated leadership in defining requirements for project risk.
  • Design and maintain technical and project documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree related to the Information Technology field of study, in addition to the required experience below. 8+ years of IT program management may be substituted for the degree requirement. degree in a technical discipline or a combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of project management or IT Management.
  • 3+ years experience coordinating and/supporting IT business processes.
  • Must possess experience managing complex projects/programs from design and development to production.
  • PMP Preferred
  • Background check with the ability to obtain a Public Trust

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Demonstrated experience in risk mitigation and contingency planning.
  • Has excellent organization, analytical, planning, and scheduling skills.
  • Has the ability to resolve highly complex problems.
  • Excellent organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.
  • Scheduling and budgeting experience to manage a large workforce effectively and efficiently.
  • Must have strong project management experience with large and complex projects
  • Must have a broad knowledge of project management methodologies
  • The ability to understand the wider objectives of the program, such as business and strategic goals
  • The ability to work with a wide range of individuals
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills with appropriate experience
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures
