The
Program Manager will oversee multiple related projects, ensuring they align with organizational goals, and managing stakeholder relationships to achieve strategic objectives.
Responsibilities - Plan and monitor progress to ensure that milestones are being met across various projects and programs.
- Manage the risks and issues that might arise throughout the program life cycle and take measures to correct them when they occur.
- Manage and use resources across the various projects in the program.
- Manage stakeholders who are involved in the program.
- Define requirements and plan project lifecycle deployment.
- Define and schedule project/program implementations.
- Planning and scheduling project deliverables, goals, and milestones.
- Direct and oversee project engineering teams and manage conflicts within a group.
- Perform team assessments and evaluations.
- Identify and solve project issues efficiently and effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership in defining requirements for project risk.
- Design and maintain technical and project documentation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications - Bachelors degree related to the Information Technology field of study, in addition to the required experience below. 8+ years of IT program management may be substituted for the degree requirement. degree in a technical discipline or a combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of project management or IT Management.
- 3+ years experience coordinating and/supporting IT business processes.
- Must possess experience managing complex projects/programs from design and development to production.
- PMP Preferred
- Background check with the ability to obtain a Public Trust
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Demonstrated experience in risk mitigation and contingency planning.
- Has excellent organization, analytical, planning, and scheduling skills.
- Has the ability to resolve highly complex problems.
- Excellent organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.
- Scheduling and budgeting experience to manage a large workforce effectively and efficiently.
- Must have strong project management experience with large and complex projects
- Must have a broad knowledge of project management methodologies
- The ability to understand the wider objectives of the program, such as business and strategic goals
- The ability to work with a wide range of individuals
- Strong leadership and managerial skills with appropriate experience
- Strong knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures
