Detailed Job Description
• Architect & Design: Lead the end-to-end architecture of scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Data Lake, and related services.
• Integration: Consolidate disparate data sources (structured, semi-structured, and unstructured) into a unified, governed data fabric to support analytics and operational workloads.
• Governance & Compliance: Define and enforce data governance policies, metadata management, lineage tracking, and compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, etc.).
• Collaboration: Partner with business stakeholders, data scientists, and analysts to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Innovation: Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies, AI/ML capabilities, and automation tools into the data ecosystem.
• Leadership & Mentorship: Provide technical leadership to data engineering teams, conduct code reviews, and establish best practices for Microsoft Fabric adoption.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive architectural diagrams, data flow documentation, and operational runbooks.
