Join our team as an Area Engineer!
Ready to be the behind-the-scenes superstar? As our Area Engineer, you'll keep multiple properties running smoothly by handling maintenance, repairs, and hands-on tasks-from carpentry and painting to plumbing. Take charge of daily operations, quickly address work orders and guest requests, and ensure preventative maintenance. Safety and efficiency are key, and you might even drive the shuttle van when needed. If you enjoy variety and making things work, this role is for you!
This position is an overtime eligible manager (OEM), overtime does apply and is calculated accordingly.

- Style Icon: Set the tone by maintaining a polished appearance, always wearing your uniform and name tag to reflect brand pride and professionalism.
- Safety & Standards Champion: Keep hotel operations safe and efficient by following all Aimbridge Hospitality rules, regulations, and procedures-your attention to detail ensures a secure environment for everyone.
- Maintenance Mentor: Lead and support the Engineering team by coordinating schedules, training staff, and ensuring maintenance requests are handled quickly and with a helpful attitude-making sure everything (and everyone) is working at their best!
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE - Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Licensed in a trade preferred (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.).
- Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Driving Record (property specific).
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly, work well under pressure, and handle workplace problems effectively.
- Must be able to work independently and understand financial information and basic arithmetic functions.
