Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on D365 Finance & Operations Developer who is ready to roll up their sleeves to streamline support operations in the short term and lead design and development of long-term stabilization strategy. This role requires a unique blend of technical depth, functional understanding, and strategic thinking to bridge the gap between business needs and system capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

•             Support Operations: Take ownership of day-to-day support issues, triage and resolve technical problems quickly, and ensure minimal disruption to business operations. 

•             Design, develop, test, and deploy custom solutions in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations using X++ and related frameworks

•             Extend and customize standard D365 F&O modules including Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Order to Cash, and Inventory as needed

•             Develop and maintain integrations using OData, REST APIs, batch jobs, and middleware platforms

•             Dual Write Expertise: Understand and manage Dual Write integration between D365 F&O and Dataverse/CE, ensuring data consistency and performance.

•             Support release management activities including code reviews, build pipelines, and production deployments

•             Technical Troubleshooting: Quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues, working closely with developers and infrastructure teams.

•             Development Partnership: Collaborate with analysts to design and deliver customizations, extensions, and integrations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

•             8+ years of extensive experience developing on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (AX/D365FO).

•             Strong proficiency in X++, object oriented programming concepts, and extension based development

•             Hands on experience with integrations, data entities, and services in D365 F&O

•             Proven experience with Dual Write, Power Platform, and Dataverse.

•             Experience working with Azure DevOps including version control, pipelines, and release management

•             Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

•             Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

•             Experience working in agile environments and with cross-functional teams.

•             Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
