You AreWe are seeking a passionate and experienced Public Services Industry Leader to guide the digital transformation of government agencies through the strategic implementation of Google Cloud's Data, AI, and agentic technologies. The ideal candidate will possess deep industry expertise, a strong understanding of government processes, and a clear vision for how cloud technology can create more responsive, data-driven, and secure public institutions.
The WorkThis executive role is dedicated to helping public sector organizations enhance citizen services, improve operational efficiency, and solve complex societal challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Industry Leadership: Define and lead the go-to-market strategy for Google Cloud's Data, AI, and agentic solutions within the Public Sector (Federal, State & Local, and Education). Act as the senior voice of the customer, translating government needs into actionable product and solution strategies for engineering and product teams.
- Public Sector Transformation: Advise government executives on leveraging Google Cloud to modernize legacy systems and accelerate their mission objectives. Drive the adoption of AI and agentic technologies to automate processes, deliver predictive insights, and create personalized, accessible services for citizens.
- Data, AI & Security Solutions: Oversee the development and deployment of secure, compliant, and scalable solutions for public sector challenges, such as fraud detection, public health analytics, and smart city infrastructure. Champion the ethical and responsible use of AI in government, ensuring solutions are fair, transparent, and accountable.
- Stakeholder & Ecosystem Engagement: Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior government officials, policy-makers, and system integrators. Foster a robust partner ecosystem to deliver comprehensive and specialized solutions for the public sector market.
- Compliance & Thought Leadership: Ensure solutions meet stringent government compliance and security standards (e.g., FedRAMP, HIPAA, CJIS). Serve as a prominent thought leader and spokesperson for Google Cloud in the public sector, speaking at industry events and engaging with the media
Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
Here's what you need - Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Computer Science, Business (or a related field) or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate's Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in a senior leadership role working in or with the public sector.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience and a proven track record of leading large-scale technology-driven transformation projects within government or for government clients.
Professional Skill Requirement- Deep understanding of government procurement processes, funding cycles, and regulatory environments.
Bonus points if you have- Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., MPA, MBA).
- Direct experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and its data, analytics, and AI services.
- Demonstrated success in deploying AI/ML solutions to address specific public sector challenges.
- Strong existing network of relationships with senior leaders across government agencies and the broader public sector ecosystem.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to serve as a credible and influential voice for technological change in government.
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
