Business Analyst - Merchandising Systems

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Business Analyst - Merchandising Systems in Phoenix, Arizona (Hybrid - 3 days onsite). The duration of this role is a six-to-nine-month contract assignment to start.

Summary:
We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst with experience supporting merchandising systems, retail systems or ecommerce systems. This role supports merchandising and retail applications ensuring accurate requirements gathering and translating into technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
* Gather, document, and translate business requirements into technical specifications
* Support retail and merchandising applications, including item setup, pricing, inventory, and related systems
* Utilize ticketing systems like (ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk, etc.) for issue tracking and analysis
* Collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and business partners to resolve issues and deliver enhancements
* Participate in user acceptance testing, release validation, and process documentation

REQUIREMENTS:
* Past experience in service desk, help desk, or system/network support roles
* Experience with ticketing systems and requirements gathering
* Background in retail or merchandising applications
* Strong communication and analytical skills

Nice to Have:
* Experience with ecommerce platforms
* Experience supporting third-party integrated software

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
